Such a plethora of species! I have never had a bad day in Africa. I try to capture wild animals where they are looking directly at me or when doing something that is amusing or human like.
Often, I will be pleasantly surprised when I go through my images and find something totally unexpected. Like a hippo traveling along a riverbank, entering the water and reemerging back onto the riverbank later. As it turns out there is a giant crocodile camouflaged on the riverbank and the hippo decides to go around rather than over!
